Technical Assistance Grant Guidelines
The Grants Committee of the Telluride Foundation will consider Technical Assistance Grant applications as well as may offer a Technical Assistance Grant to a local nonprofit instead of funding a grant request. The objective is to provide the nonprofit a professional third part assessment of their current needs then a professional nonprofit consultant to assist through the solution process. The assessment may identify the need for an updated business plan, strategic plan, marketing plan, Board of Directors development, etc. The consultant will assist the organizations staff and Board through the development of the plan. The Assessment will be conducted by the Community Resource Center or a consultant choosen by the nonprofit, if approved by the Telluride Foundation, and will be shared with the Telluride Foundation. The Telluride Foundation will pay for the assessment and will fund part or the entire consultant fees. If selected for a TA, the non-profit will not be eligible for future funding from the Telluride Foundation until they have completed the TA process.
